Thank you to the Pew Internet Research Study for putting together a very comprehensive study on Senior Citizens and their use of Digital Technology.
Lee Rainie, director of the Pew Internet & American Life Project, will describe the Project’s research about those 65 and older use of technology. In early 2012, for the first time ever, more than 50% of older Americans are internet users and an even higher share have mobile phones. This is changing the way people gather, share, and create information. And it is changing the way they communicate and act in groups.
This study shows there is a tremendous opportunity for Elected Officials to engage with “senior” constituents thru digital technology. They are willing. And they are able. They use the Internet. They have cell phones and other mobile devices. They text. They are on the digital grid.
MyGov365′s Mobile Communication Platform can help you stay connected with your constituents 23/7.
